♫ Green Grass – Scarlett Johansson

Hello sweeties,

This was one the most warm days since a couple of months and we went to the Lake Sanaru-ko to enjoy the view and we took advantage of the weather to do a small picnic. The Lake is beautiful and is quit big, there was a lot of ducks, people doing exercises, and gorgeous pink flowers all over the floor ! To get in the mood of the photos listen the music from the title’s post, I love Scarlett Johansson’s cd !

Recently I realized that I almost look (outfits) like a cartoon during the week, maybe because since I started teaching I only wear jeans (something I promised myself not to do). I don’t see myself wearing anything beyond jeans for my classes and I don’t think it’s appropriate to teach wearing shorts or skirt (mainly because all of my skirts are too short). So today I decided to put my legs out and wear my cut off shorts with my wild leopard tights. Do you remember my Special Needs list ? I decided to include some different tops to the list and this shirt was one of the three best thrifted tops I found recently. And yes I’m wearing all the time with my black skinny and my gold vintage belt (Doug Funnie syndrome).

Before I say goodbye I want to ask you if there is anything else you would like to see here : more outfits, photos of Japan, house tour, DIY, decor tips ?

And I see you with more trend post !

Love, Ellen.

  1. What a beautiful post, Ellen – these are my favourite kind, where you mix in photos of the beauty of Japan with your style photos. Speaking of your style, I totally understand how you feel about getting stuck wearing the same things to work all the time, but that just makes dressing up on weekends more fun! I love the top your thrifted, the plaid print is really pretty, and it works so well with your shorts and jacket :)
